Going In Circles

Going In Circles: these quilts would be aimed at entry in the AQS Ultimate Guild Challenge at the 2024 AQS Grand Rapids Show. Size: 6″ x 36″, plus or minus 1”. Bear in mind that AQS minimum size is 30”.

These quilts are due at our March 2023 meeting.

Forest Floor 2020

We decided to continue our annual challenge in hopes COVID would not derail this year’s round of shows.

  • Landscape format/horizontal orientation.
  • Height—31”, + or – one inch. Bear in mind that the AQS minimum is 30 inches.
  • Width–anywhere from 36 to 52 inches.
  • Create an interpretation of what you could find while walking through the forest. Embellishments or use of fibers is encouraged. Any techniques, any season.
